A Queen’s Park hotel has won a top industry accolade at the prestigious 2017 Scottish Hotel Awards – widely seen as the licensed trade’s equivalent of the ‘Oscars’.
Number 10 Hotel in Queen’s Drive won the title ‘Best Informal Restaurant for Glasgow and Clyde Valley’, and will now represent that huge area in the national finals.
This means the venue is not only the “best in the west” but is fully in the frame for a chance of winning the national title – the overall winner will be announced at a glittering awards ceremony at the Crowne Plaza Glasgow on Sunday, April 23.
General manager William Sloan (pictured) said: “I’m really delighted that Number 10 beat off stiff competition to scoop the award for Best Informal Restaurant for Glasgow & Clyde Valley, particularly when you look at the great quality of the restaurants in the area.
“We’ve really upped our game in the last few years and we’ve built a reputation for the high quality of our food, great ambience and friendly service.
“This award is a reflection of the hard work and commitment of all of our team and I’m really excited about the future for the hotel and developing our award-winning formula to further enhance Number 10.”
