TALENTED, young dancers from Glasgow are being asked to participate in the Dance Proms at the Royal Albert Hall.
Organisers say that the city is home to some of the country’s best dance schools and they are hoping that some of them will participate.
A Dance Proms spokesperson said: “This really is a once in a lifetime opportunity for talented, young dancers to perform in one of the world’s most iconic venues in front of top industry figures and celebrity dancers.
“We know that Glasgow is home to lots of the country’s most talented young dancers in many genres and we really encourage them to apply this year.”
The Dance Proms takes place on Sunday, November 2 in London but registration closes on Sunday, April 27.
Entries for the proms must be submitted online by video and will be judged by a panel of professionals.
An online, public vote will take place during June to find the final act to join the Dance Proms Company 2014.
