Witnesses sought over park attack

POLICE are hunting a man who exposed himself to a 21-year-old woman in a southside park.

The incident took place in Linn Park, near Clarkston Road, on January 9.

The woman was walking her dogs at about 11.05am when she spotted a man in the bushes carrying out an indecent act on himself.

He grabbed the woman and threatened her, but she broke free and ran off to contact the police.

She describes the man as white, 40-50 years of age, of thin build and between 5ft 10 and 5ft 11.

He has short brown hair that is turning grey, and was wearing a green jumper and blue jeans at the time.

Detective constable Lee Ann Miller, of Cathcart police station, said: “I would urge anyone who may have seen this man acting suspiciously in the park, or who may recognise his description, to come forward”.
