GUESS who’s back... Back again? … Shady’s back...
Yes the white rapper that has lead the field for more years than even he cares to remember is coming to the southside of Glasgow.
Slim Shady, aka Marshall Mathers, is to headline a gig in Bellahouston Park this summer.
The rap artist, who has sold more than 100 million records worldwide, will headline Glasgow Summer Sessions in the southside venue.
The event is organised by DF Concerts, who stage T in the Park, and the company’s chief exec was thrilled to announce the addition of the high-profile name.
Geoff Ellis said: We’re delighted to announce Eminem as the first major act for Glasgow Summer Sessions.
“His performance at T in the Park, and his previous stadium show at Hampden, were spectacular, so this gig will be one of the events of the year.
“As it’s one of the most important music destinations in the world, we’re also excited about what else we have to announce for summer sessions and there will be more news soon.”
Eminem’s Glasgow gig will be on Tuesday, August 20 and tickets will go on sale later this week.
