Road closures
RESIDENTS are asked to take note of road closures coming up in East Renfrewshire.
Cunninghame Drive in Giffnock, running between Braidpark Drive and Whitton Drive, will be closed for five weeks to allow for resurfacing work.
There will be no access to the street from January 30 until March 2, and an alternative route will be signposted.
Orchard Park, from the Fenwick Road junction to Academy Road, will also temporarily close for five days next month for resurfacing of the road and footpath.
There will be no access from February 10 to 14, except for emergency vehicles – pedestrian access remains unaffected.
A spokesman for East Renfrewshire council apologised for any inconvenience caused.
