THREE roads will be closed next month in East Renfrewshire to allow for resurfacing work.

Broom Road East, Kirkhill Road and Kirkvale Court are to close between Tuesday, April 2 and Sunday, April 14.

Broom Road East will close from a point 155m southeast of its junction with Mearns Road, southeast for a distance of 185m.

Kirkhill Road from its junction with Broom Road East, for a distance of 265m.

from its junction with Kirkvale Drive, for a distance of 125m.

All vehicles will be prohibited from the areas during this work except for emergency vehicles and those associated with the works — though pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

An alternative route for Broom Road East is Waterfoot Road, Mearns Road and Broom Road East.

For Kirkhill Road, take Laigh Road and Krikdene Avenue.

Kirkvale Court is a cul de sac and, therefore, has no alternative route.
