It’s doors open across East Renfrewshire next month as visitors are invited into places of note for a look around.
Free Doors Open Day events take place in East Ren on September 13-14.
Included in Saturday’s list are Eaglesham and Williamwood parish churches, Clarkston Fire Station, Greenbank House and Cathcart Cemetery, and on Sunday, Giffnock and Newlands Hebrew Congregation Synagogue is in the spotlight.
Councillor Vincent Waters, said: “We have some splendid old churches that are well worth a visit, and for something a little different, you can take a guided walk around Cathcart Cemetery to see gothic tombs, Egyptian temples, and Green, Romanesque and art-nouveau designs.”
