A CHARITY cheque from Langside college students will be music to the ears of residents of a Glasgow care home.
The college’s music students held a recent gig called Most Wanted, at city centre venue Stereo, in aid of Southview care home in Cambuslang, and managed to raise £263.
The southside students are regulars at the home, where they deliver volunteer workshops and teach residents how to play instruments and sing.
Care home manager James Arthur commented: “We took a few of the residents along to the gig at Stereo last week and they all really enjoyed it. We’re looking forward to more workshops with the students.”
