A MAN accused of stalking deputy first minister Nicola Sturgeon has appeared in court.
Dogan Arslan (46) was held overnight at Cathcart police office after his arrest by police officers on Thursday.
He made an appearance at Glasgow Sheriff Court the following day where he made no plea or declaration.
Mr Arslan was released on bail by Sheriff Lindsay Wood.
No date was set for his next appearance.
A spokeswoman for Strathclyde Police said: “We can confirm that on Thursday, December 13 a 46-year-old man was arrested in connection with alleged stalking offences.”
