Lynda Spence

THE Lynda Spence murder trial has been halted after a jury member was unable to continue.

Four men had gone on trial accused of murdering the Pollokshields woman.

However, it soon became apparent that one of the jury had to stop due to personal problems and the jury was dismissed by judge Lord Pentland.

A new jury was expected to be picked today .

Lynda Spence went missing in April 2011 — her body has never been found.

The four men — David Parker (37), Paul Smith (46), Philip Wade (41) and Colin Coats (41) — all deny all the charges made against them.
