Leap to charity effort

A YOUNG Eaglesham girl is appealing to the community for help with her charity effort.

Laura Ormiston (19) is hosting a charity fundraising Frog Race night at The Eglinton Arms hotel in Eaglesham on April 12.

Laura has been suffering ill health for more than six years as a result of a rare condition called gastroparesis, which results in a “paralysed” stomach.

Laura is now hoping to help others with the condition.
