It could be you...

WITH Valentine’s day almost upon us, it could be an especially lucky one for a Glasgow couple.

There is an unclaimed ticket worth £77,702 being held by the National Lottery Fund.

And staff at the Lotto are urging Glaswegians who participate to scrutinise their tickets.

The winning ticket, purchased in the city, matched five numbers and the bonus ball in the Lotto draw on December 31.

The winning numbers on that date were 7,11,37,38,42,44 and the bonus ball was 2.

The lucky ticket holder has until 5.30pm on June 28 of this year to come forward to make their claim.

If no-one comes forward with the winning ticket the prize money, plus all the interest it has generated, will go to good causes – adding to the £27 billion already raised through sales of lottery tickets since it began in November 1994.

A National Lottery spokesman said: “We’re desperate to find this missing lottery ticket-holder and unite them with their winnings.

“This could really be the best way to celebrate Valentine’s day and show your partner how special they really are.

“We have all the champaign on ice and a dozen red roses at hand, as well as our fingers crossed, that the lucky winner comes forward to claim their win”.

If you have the winning ticket, call 0845 910 0000.
