Grampian Way closes

A ROAD closure has been announced in East Renfrewshire.

The section of the Grampian Way in Barrhead between Springhill Road and Arthurlie Avenue will be closed between Monday, February 20 to Friday, March 2 to allow the safe operation of essential carriageway resurfacing work.

All vehicles except emergency transportation and vehicles associated with the works will be prohibited, though pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

An alternative route will be provided via Springhill Road, Ralston Road, Cullin Way and Arthurlie Avenue, both ways.

East Ren council have apologised for any inconvenience the work may cause.
