CROOKFUR primary pupils, parents and staff celebrated a St Andrews Day with a difference reently, digging deep to add to their outdoor learning space.

Volunteers pulled together to create a willow dome and tunnel, as well as digging out a wild flower meadow.

P6 teacher Claire Reynolds thanked Asda for supplies and hot drinks, adding: “It’s brilliant when a school community gets together.

“I’d like to say a huge thank you. Everyone had an amazing time, and we all went home exhausted and covered in mud!”
