Peter May returns to local bookstore

Best-selling author Peter May returns to The Avenue Shopping Centre in Newton Mearns for the fourth year in a row.

The novelist whose books regularly top the charts will be discussing his latest book, Coffin Road, in a free event organised by Waterstone’s.

In May’s latest standalone book, a man is washed up on a deserted beach on the Hebridean Isle of Harris, barely alive and borderline hypothermic - he has no idea who he is or how he got there.

The only clue to his identity is a map tracing a track called the Coffin Road. He does not know where it will lead him but filled with dread, fear and uncertainty, he knows he must follow it.

There’s little doubt May has yet another winner on his hands. Meet the author at Primavera Bistro on Monday, January 18 from 7pm till 8.30pm.
