Barrhead road closure

motorists are advised of a temporary road closure in Barrhead later this month.

Kelburn Street, between Allan’s Corner and Neilston Road, will be closed between Monday, January 21 and Sunday, February 10.

During that time, East Renfrewshire council will replace the worn out surface of the existing carriageway, and traffic will be controlled by temporary lights.

ERC environment convener, councillor Vincent Waters, said: “Please help us to keep you and all road users safe while we’re doing this work.

“Always give yourself more time for journeys and pay attention to the diversion signs. Take extra care in and around the works and when using diversions, and be patient and accept our apologies for any delay”.
