Leading roles for Eastwood’s young thesps

Two East Ren school pupils are set for stardom, having landed starring roles in two very different films.

Ewan Walker and Jamie Duff, both Eastwood High boys, are filming for Scottish productions — third year Ewan for a leading role in BBC Scotland’s

Ewan (14) will play Callum Murston, a member of one of the fictional Aberdeen families portrayed in the Iain Banks adaptation.

The Newton Mearns lad said: “It has been a great opportunity for me. I was really excited to be part of such a big production.”
