Glasgow will be heading west for a little latin flavour this April, with a one-off carnival gig planned at Kelvingrove Bandstand.

The Cuban Brothers will headline at Kelvingrove Goes Cuban, with support from Glasgow’s own Shiverin’ Sheiks and more local artists.

The bands will provide the funk on the Bandstand stage while the chefs behind Burger Meats Bun and Bo Kantina provide tasty pop-up treats, all washed down with wine from the Bijou Wine Company, Scottish craft beer and cider.

The event takes place on April 30, a holiday weekend, 4.30-11pm - and the party continues over at Firebird, where the Cuban Brothers will carry on with a DJ set long into the night.

Tickets for the gig are £20, available from Glasgow Life and Ticketline. For more info, follow @CubansAtKelvin.
