IT WAS aces high for Silverburn at a recent award ceremony.
The southside shopping centre managed to scopp two awards at the Ace Awards, which is organised by the British Cuoncil of Shopping Centres.
First up was Silverburn’s security team leader, Mark Smith (44), who bagged the Ace star award. This is an award given to one individual showcasing dedication to improving the customer experience in the retail environment.
Mark has worked at the shopping centre since 2009.
The mall was also given a gong for best large UK scheme, for shopping centre amassing more than 80,000 sq/metres: it is the second time in three years that Silverburn has won the prize.
Silverburn general manager David Pierotti said: “A massive congratulations must be passed to all those shortlisted in the Ace awards.
“We are particularly proud of our team at Silverburn who pride themselves on offering a seemless experience and service to every customer.
“With our customers at the heart of everything we do, it is great that one of the top industry body’s has paid homage to Silverburn’s dedication to service.”
The winners were announced at a ceremony in Manchester.
