Getting up early, particularly on a Sunday, is not high on most people’s list of priorities.
It is the last day of the weekend to have a long lie, so the concept of getting up at 4am is preporsterous.
Ah, but imagine all the wonderful, nature yu miss by being a lazybones.
Next weekend the countryside rangers at Dams to Darnley country park have arranged a sunrise dawn chorus walk.
They are asking people to come along for 5am and spend two hours experiencing the sights and sounds for what they say is a ‘never to be forgotten’ time with nature.
Although the walk is free, the rangers are asking that interested folk book in advance: call them on 0141 577 4053/4054 or e-mail them at email@example.com.
The rangers advise that folk wear suitable clothhing for the walk and bring binoculars, if they have them.
