The Glasgow Chamber Choir is 20 years old — and embarking on a choral marathon by way of celebration.
With the group’s anniversary coinciding with Glasgow 2014, it’s a fitting tribute to the city, with new choral works written for the occasion.
The choir is hitting five different venues, performing a different selection of their repertoire at each — and all for free.
The fun kicks off at Glasgow Airport tomorrow (Saturday), 3.30pm, following by a free, ticketed show at the Tall Ship from 7.30pm.
Sunday’s shows include the Kibble Palace at 1pm, then a shift to the southside for St Margaret’s at 3.30pm and The Glad Cafe at 6pm.
