Families are invited to Pollokshields Library next week for a Turner-themed art attack.

The arts and crafts event takes place on Saturday, November 21 at 11am, and is free.

The aim is to engage families with the Turner exhibition, ongoing at Tramway until January and featuring work by four nominated artists or groups.

Assemble has been nominated for an ongoing restoration collaboration with the residents of the Granby Four Streets, Liverpool, while Bonnie Camplin presents The Military Industrial Complex; a study room exploring reality through physics, philosophy, psychology, witchcraft and warfare.

Janice Kerbel’s piece DOUG is a musical composition telling a narrative story through nine songs, and Nicole Wermers’ installation Infrastruktur uses fur coat-adorned chairs to explore lifestyle, class and consumption.
