NEW session of Thinking Allowed events at Orchardhill Parish Church. Tonight, Rev Stuart MacQuarrie on Getting to the Top in a Duffle Coat. 7.30pm for 8pm, £5 suggested donation.

Friday October 10

ART show at Greenbank Gardens — work by local artists Lilias Chalmers and Eleanor Lang. Today and tomorrow, 11am-5pm.

Saturday October 11

WILD Art activities at Rouken Glen Park. Join the activity ranger from 1-3pm for this free event — booking required on 638 4121.

GARDEN walk at Greenbank House, this week on autumn lawn care. 2.30-4pm, and ticket price is included in admission to the house.

Sunday October 12

GIVE blood session at Clarkston Hall today (12-3.30pm) and tomorrow (2-3.45pm and 5.15-7.30pm).

GARDENING tips at Mearns Horticultural Society meeting, ahead of the group’s autumn pot plant show (no entry fee). 7.45pm start at Albertslund Community Centre. £2 entry includes raffle and refreshments.
