GIFTED singer Erin Todd has been nominated for a songwriting award in this year’s Scottish New Music Awards.

The chanteuse, who originally hails from Edinburgh, has been nominated for the Frankie Miller Songwriter of the Year gong for her song Pulling Me Away.

Last month The Extra featured Erin’s talents in its Scene page.

Then we predicted big things coming her way, and it looks like we were right.

Covering a range of singing styles, Erin cites her influences as Eva Cassidy, Sigur Ros, Fleetwood Mac, Led Zeppelin and Nick Drake.

The singer is set for stardom, and this may be that first step.
