Coffee chain Tim Hortons is investing further in the Glasgow market by setting up shop in Silverburn Shopping Centre on Thursday (November 16)

The company which opened its first Scottish branch in Argyle Street in the summer decided to snap up up a unit next to Patisserie Valerie near the main entrance.

Large crowds are expected to gather for a host of free offers and incentives at the new eaterie which is a fixture across Canada.

Gurprit Dhaliwal, COO of Tim Hortons UK and Ireland Ltd, added: “Our first Tim Hortons restaurant received an exceptional welcome in Glasgow, so we’re excited to launch this debut shopping centre concept within Silverburn.

“It’s a perfect location.”
