Dig out your collectibles — the Antiques Roadshow is back in town.

Southsiders are invited across the river to Kelvingrove Art Gallery for the latest instalment of the BBC favourite to be filmed in Glasgow.

Previous visits have uncovered a painting bought for £115 and worth £10,000, a wallet made from the skin of William Burke (of Burke and Hare fame) and an original Charles Rennie Macintosh sketch.

Doors open next Thursday (October 9) at 9.30am and close at 4.30pm — and entry is free.

Anyone keen to attend but wondering how they can get an item too big for their car to the show can contact antiques.roadshow@bbc.co.uk, or write Antiques Roadshow, BBC, Whiteladies Road, Bristol BS8 2LR, and the programme may arrange for items to be brought to the galleries.
