Residents are being urged to ensure family milestones are marked with a telegram from the Queen.
Telegrams of congratulations from HM the Queen are presented to those celebrating their 100th birthday, 105th birthday and each birthday afterwards.
Couples reaching their diamond wedding anniversary (60 years), blue sapphire (65 years), platinum (70 years) and every subsequent anniversary can also receive a Royal telegram.
Telegrams from the Queen are presented by the Lord-Lieutenant, Guy Clark, or one of his deputies following contact with the Lieutenancy office in advance.
Mr Clark said: “I would urge everyone with a family member about to celebrate such an event to inform us.
“It’s wonderful to reach such a significant birthday or anniversary and it is fitting that it is marked with this very special telegram from the Queen.”
To inform the Lord-Lieutenant about an upcoming anniversary, contact his office by visiting the website at www.renfrewshirelieutenancy.org.uk.
