East Renfrewshire is set for a month of traffic disruption.
Woodfarm Road in Thornliebank, from its junctions with Inglestone Avenue and Balgownie Crescent, will close from Monday until Friday, July 13, to allow essential resurfacing works to be carried out.
All vehicles except for emergency transportation and those associated with the works will be prohibited but pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
The alternative route will be via Inglestone Avenue – Balgownie Crescent and vice-versa.
Also, the full length of Academy Road in Giffnock, from St Catherine’s Road to Orchard Park, will be closed for two weeks between Monday, July 23, and Sunday, August 5, to allow resurfacing to be carried out.
All vehicles will be prohibited while the work is underway, however pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
An alternative route will be via St. Catherine’s Road, Fenwick Road and Orchard Park.
Elsewhere, Springfield Road in Barrhead will be closed between Monday, July 16, and Friday, August 3, to allow resurfacing.
The section of the road between Springhill Road and Aurs Road will be closed throughout, and the same restrictions apply.
