Officers believe that the man and woman shown in the images may be able to assist them with their enquiries and would ask anyone who recognises them to contact police. Officers advise that the man was last seen travelling south along Kilmarnock Road before turning into Newlandsfield Road.

Detective Constable Jim Duncan said: “I would appeal to anyone who witnessed this incident or who recognises any of the people in the images to contact us as their information could assist with our investigation. Anyone with any information is asked to contact CID officers at Cathcart Police Office on 101.

“Alternatively, please call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where you can give your information anonymously.”
