THE Christmas season is well underway at Thornliebank Resource Centre this week.

Service users have been putting the finishing touches to hand-crafted table decorations in preparation for a festive coffee morning next week.

The group turned to nature for inspiration, using branches and fir cones from the centre’s garden to create the decorations, and they will be available to buy alongside decorated gift tins, tablet, home baking and tea and coffee.

The resource centre hopes to use the money raised to buy new cameras and sensory equipment for the 40 East Ren people with learning disabilities who use the centre.

The coffee morning takes place on December 6, 10.30am-12noon at the centre, on Robslee Drive, and all are welcome to attend.
