Care giving charity Cosgrove’s second fundraisingBingo night at Marks’ Deli was a huge success raising more than £800.
60 ladies enjoyed an evening of bubbly, bingo and fish and chips- and many were lucky to even leave at the end of the night with some winnings in their pockets.
The fundraiser got off to a flying start with four guest bingo callers: Lewis Orchant, Gary Landa, Paul Winocour and Mark Cohen. They entertained the players with their hilarious take on the ‘bingo lingo’, with many numbers being called twice such was the fun.
Cosgrove’s Chief Executive Heather Gray said: “The Bingo night was a great success and we greatly appreciate the support of all who came along on the night.
“More than ever, Cosgrove needs our fundraising events to help us continue to deliver vital support and services to some of our community’s most vulnerable people.
“Everyone who came along had a great time and we are especially grateful to Mark’s Deli for their continued support.”
Cosgrove’s next ladies’ night- an evening with a renowned psychic and dinner- is planned for April 2017. This event is expected to sell out fast when the tickets are released.
