Cops warn over drinking

STRATHCLYDE Police are urging people not to Fuel Anti-Social Behaviour.

Police claim that it is well known that alcohol can play a big part in contributing to anti-social behaviour within communities.

And to drive the message home to people, they have listed some points to remember:

n The legal age to drink is 18 – if caught you could face a fine.

n Street drinking is against the law – if caught you could face a fine.

n Anyone caught buying drink for someone under 18 years of age will face a fine, imprisonment or both.
