An exercise class in East Ren has seen demand grow to such an extent that organisers are putting on more to meet demand.

The Health Improvement Team (East Renfrewshire Health and Social Care Partnership) are offering residents the chance to take part in a ten week chair-based exercise course.

The exercises in this class will help improve balance and co-ordination, posture, stride and grip. Carrying shopping, doing housework and walking will be less work, making it easier and more enjoyable to do every day tasks.

If you aren’t exercising at the moment and would like a gentle re-introduction to exercise then these classes will be suitable for you. Also welcome are people with health conditions who find it difficult to access fitness activities. Classes are free and are offered on a first come first served basis to older people and people with long term health conditions.

Classes will start October 17. To book call, text or email: Belinda Arthur on: 07967 611 742 or email her at: belinda.arthur@eastrenfrewshire.gov.uk
