THE children of Isobel Mair family centre have thanked the community for their generous donations.
Joanne Todd, depute head of the centre which opened in August this year, is delighted with the gifts.
She told The Extra: “As we are a new centre we have been working hard to extend our range of resources.
“IKEA has donated two Christmas trees for our playrooms along with lights, tinsel and bobbles,
“Caulders Braidbar Garden Centre donated a real, six-foot tree and Specsavers in East Kilbride has donated 32 high-vis vests so we can easily identify children on outing”.
The children also participated in a sponsored walk and raised £300.
