FOR some, the name Brendan McLaughlin will conjure up memories of nights in the Scotia Bar or the Clutha Vaults.
Brendan, at different point in his life, ran both of these bars.
But for others, they will know Brendan as a musician of no inconsiderable talent — and it’s in this latter context that he’s concentrating his energies.
This Saturday, Brendan is appearing at the Glad Cafe on Pollokshaws Road to introduce his new album, The Lucky Ones, to the public.
A keen supporter of a Yes vote in September’s referendum, Brendan also releases his single, Independence, the same evening.
Brendan appears at 8pm in the Glad Cafe and there’s no charge to get in.
