Blanket charity coverage
Members of Kirkintilloch Soroptimists are pictured with some of the 100 blankets they have donated to charity Mary’s Meals this year.
Over the last 13 years, women have anonymously handed thousands of knitted sqares into Maureen’s Woolcart in Kirkintilloch’s Regent Centre, which soroptimists have sewn into around 1,300 blankets.
Organiser Christine Lorimer thanked all those who had knitted squares for the worthy cause.
