BARRHEAD library is relocating to Lowndes Street this month.
The former rent office will be the library’s temporary home before it moves to a new £3.8 million community hub at Barrhead sports centre, set to open in autumn 2014.
The current library will close its doors on June 15, at 5pm. Contents will be shipped over to Lowndes Street, which will open as of June 19, 9.30am.
The site will offer the same resources, but Bookbug sessions will move to Barrhead Museum.
