A toast to the bard’s life and loves

Burns suppers are all well and good — but how about getting personal with the man himself?

While we can’t promise the reincarnation of the original bard, we can suggest a trip to The Shed to see Tram Direct’s Rabbie the Man. The show is back with stage and screen actor Colin McGowan — who made his film debut in Peter Mullan’s NEDS — at the helm.

As Rabbie the Man, Colin delves beyond those beloved verses to unveil Burns’ loves, political views and fights against the injustices of the day.

The show runs Friday (Jan 23) at 7pm and Sat and Sun at 3pm — tickets £8 from 637 0778 or manager@tramdirect.com.
