Wit, music and modern musings

BEARDED funnyman Bill Bailey takes on Glasgow this week as part of a nationwide tour.

The comedian’s new live show, Qualmpeddler, promises just as much wit, musing and music as shows of old.

Bill’s doubts about the modern world have ballooned into serious qualms — but he’s channeling these feelings of unease into religious dubstep, folk bouzouki, horntallica, and perhaps a dub version of Downton Abbey.

There’s plenty of philosophical angst from the Black Books star — but it’s safe to assume that it will all be very funny.

Bill Bailey appears at the Pavilion on Friday and Saturday (May 10-11). Show at 8pm, tickets £25 from 0844 875 8758.
