NETHERLEE and Stamperland community council are meeting tonight at 7.30pm. Check East Refrewshire council’s website for the venue which will be either Clarkston Hall or Netherlee library.

Friday, March 16

STORYTIME at Busby library. Suitable for children aged three to five years. It’s free so come along and listen to a selection of fun and exciting stories between 10.30am and 11am.

BARRHEAD high parent council quiz night is on at Shanks Bowling Club at 7.30pm. Get a team together and join in to supporter the parent council.

CATHCART Trinity church on 90 Clarkston Road is the setting for the popular annual display and sale of work/coffee morning of the art and craft club. Held between 10am and noon, there will also be home baking and craft stalls. All welcome and entry is by donation.

Sunday, March 18

JOIN the Wildlife Crime Detectives at Dams to Darnley country park. Find out about the threats to our wildlife from criminals and investigate a mock crime scene. Free event takes place between 1pm and 3pm.

Monday, March 19

FRIENDS of Cowan Park public meeting at 7pm in Barrhead high school. The meeting will discuss latest develpments at the park and members are urging folk to come along and let them know what they want from their park.

Bfn Barrhead Carlibar breastfeeding group meeting in Carlibar primary school between 11.30am and 1.30pm. The group welcomes all pregnant and breastfeeding women looking for support and information as well as somewhere nice to meet up for a friendly chat with other local breastfeeding mums. Free event.

THE Giffnock Friendship Club is meeting in Park church between 2pm and 3.30pm. Today is its AGM.
