IT’S hard to realise that Katie Melua is all of 27 years old.
The elfin songstress even has five studio albums under her belt – utterly bizarre.
Well, Katie’s back out on the road for a European tour highlighting some of her most famous songs, coupled with some from her new album, Secret Symphony.
Katie said of her new disc: “I really enjoyed recording Secret Symphony, there is a simplicity to it that I love and the songs are beautiful to sing.
“Playing a song live on stage brings something new each time and it is exciting to share that unique performance, that special moment, with the audience”.
The audience can look forward to hearing some of her biggest hits such as The Closest Thing to Crazy and Nine Million Bicycles.
During the summer Katie, who has sold more than 11 million albums and is one of Britain’s most successful artists of the last decade, has been performing at festivals and outdoor concerts throughout Europe.
And now the tiny singer is coming to Glasgow as part of her Secret Symphony tour.
You can catch Katie at the Glasgow Royal concert hall on Monday and tickets are priced at £30/£32.50/£35.
