Youngsters can have a summer of sporty and fun activities thanks to East Renfrewshire Culture and Leisure (ERLC).
There will be something for children of all ages to enjoy in this year’s Summer Holiday Activities programme which runs from July 3 to August 11.
From football, swimming, basketball and athletics to sports camps, arts and crafts, drama, reading and the ever-popular Superhero Academy - all the acitivites will be hosted at venues across East Renfrewshire.
Eastwood Park Theatre, in Giffnock, will also stage theatre camps.
Chief executive of ERCL, Anthony McReavy said: “There’s no chance of youngsters feeling bored during the school summer holidays as we’ve got an amazing array of activities for them to take part in.
“We aim to give young people a summer of fun and sporting activity that will not only keep them fit and healthy, but also stretch their imaginations and teach them new arts and craft skills.”
Free places are available on all week-long sports camps (which run daily from 10am to 3pm) and on sports activities.
To qualify for a free place, children must attend an East Renfrewshire school and be entitled to an ALL Access concession card. The ALL Access concession card is available to those who are disabled or in receipt of council tax or housing benefit.
