Something for the little ones (and maybe not so little . . . )

PANTO is all well and good for children of the right age — but what about the little ones?

If your bundle of joy is more likely to scream than laugh at the panto baddie, then Eastwood Park Theatre may provide an alternative this week.

A performance tailored especially for ages three to six, Little Ulla is a production by Grinagog Theatre and Scottish Opera.

Our title character is no ordinary mountain goat — she’s also the village postie.

But when Little Ulla comes across the lonely clockmaker Mr Hans, she rounds up her friends and sets out to give the man who hasn’t had any Christmas cards a holiday to remember.

The 45-minute interactive show features a mix of puppets, storytelling and song, all bound to delight pre-school kids in the run-up to Christmas.

Little Ulla runs December 20-23 at Eastwood Park Theatre. Starts 11am and 1.30pm, and tickets are £7 (£5 children).
