Double helping of comedy
Mary Massacre
THEATRE fans can help themselves to seconds at Eastwood park theatre this week with Double Nugget – a duo of comedies.
Toured by Random Accomplice, both plays promise humorous, uplifting tales and are said to be perfect mirror images of one another.
The first, Mary Massacre, is a bittersweet rollercoaster as two women meet by the fair candyfloss machine. Strangers to begin with, Leyla and Jenny soon unravel a few shared interests – and some overlap in their life stories too.
The second is Seven Year Itch – an intriguing tale about the office daydreamer with that murderous look in their eye – billed as a “chilling tale, packed full of frivolity”.
