He’s come a long way

GONE are the days when Robbie was considered the most successful and memorable member of Take That.

It seems like you can’t get away from Gary Barlow nowadays – but judging by his increasing popularity in recent years, it seems that few of you want to.

If you’re a fan of the boys (or should that be men?) or an avid X Factor viewer, you may be pleased to know that the trimmer, more mature Mr Barlow is heading this way as part of a solo tour.

The singer and talent show judge has extended his In Concert series from a few dates south of the border to a full on tour, taking in Leicester, Brighton, Scarborough and of course, Glasgow.

Gary commented: “I’m really excited – playing live is my favourite thing. Last year, playing two London shows was brilliant – so I thought right, let’s get out and see the rest of the country”.

It seems safe to say that a large portion of Glaswegian ladies will be looking forward to seeing him too.

n Gary Barlow plays the Clyde Auditorium on Thursday, January 10. Tickets are £35-£55, available on 0844 395 4000.
