He’s behind you. . . .

IT’S that time again... Oh, no it isn’t.

Yes, it can only mean that panto season is once more among us.

The time of year when parents find a couple of hours when the munchkins are vociferous — and it’s not directed towards ma and da.

And even the parents, if they’ve a mind, can join in the fun as they desperately call out advice to the hapless hero.

This year, the King’s Theatre is giving us Cinderella with a host of well-kent faces you’ll have seen before.

The show stars Karen Dunbar, returning for her fifth year as the Fairy Godmother.

Karen is best remembered as part of the team that brought us Chewin’ the Fat on TV. Joining Karen is Capital Scotland’s Des Clarke as Buttons in his King’s panto debut.

In the title role, is Jenny Douglas — who you may have seen on Over the Rainbow.

Gavin Mitchell is one half of the Ugly Sisters, a role that won him critical acclaim in 2008.

n Cinderella runs until January 6, and performance times vary. Tickets £9-£25, from 0844 871 7648 or www.atgtickets.com/glasgow.
