LANDLORDS in East Renfrewshire will be given advice on fire safety and their obligations to their tenants at a special event.

Speakers at the occasion on Wednesday, November 28 will include Gordon McGuire, station commander for Strathclyde Fire and Rescue, and Suzanne Irvine, the homeless implementations officer.

Suzanne will be speaking about how private landlords can offer their properties through the East Renfrewshire council’s private sector leasing scheme.

The council’s private rented housing officer, Grant Murray, 
will also be on hand to give an update on the landlord 
registration scheme in East Renfrewshire.

The forum takes place at 6.30pm at Eastwood House, Eastwood Park, Rouken Glen Road.
