TALENTED pupils at St Joseph’s primary have been boosting Christmas spirit for family and friends this week.

Children at the Busby school took to the stage for a nativity show – inviting mums, dads, grandparents and siblings along to hear all about the true meaning of Christmas.

Children from primaries one and two wowed audiences on Tuesday and Wednesday, alongside a performance from talented young saxaphone player Jonathan McFarlane, who played Jingle Bells and Silent Night.

The school choir also showcased festive favourites fresh from a performance at the Clarkston BID Christmas Extravaganza last weekend – and after Tuesday’s show, the young singers went on to perform for elderly residents at Bonnyton House and Hawthorn Court.
