Prunty delivers early Ayr KO to Spiders

A QUICK-FIRE opener from Bryan Prunty put Queen's Park on the backfoot against Ayr on Saturday.
The striker took just two minutes to open the scoring and followed up again, 25 minutes later with a second.
The Spiders fared better in the second half, when burly midfielder Tony Quinn knocked in a consolation, but a late chance for David Murray could have snatched a point for the visitors right at the death.
The Hampden side are out of action now until September 13, when they host Peterhead. Kick off 3pm.
