HAGGS Castle's inaugural golf junior open recently attracted more than 80 young golfers from more than 30 clubs.
The weather gods smiled and delivered sunshine throughout the day and this together with a course in superb condition ensured the championship was off to a great start.

Sean McLernon of Ralston won the Campbell Elliot cup with a best of the day nett score of 60 and scooped the trophy for ten to 15-year-olds.
